Swedish cross-country team confirms new partnership
After 27 years with Craft, Adidas will now take over as the clothing supplier for the Swedish cross-country skiing team.
Just before the season began, it was confirmed that Craft and the Swedish cross-country skiing team would not extend their contract, ending a partnership that lasted 27 years. At that time, reports indicated that Adidas was ready to step in as the new clothing partner.
Adidas already sponsors several Swedish stars, including Frida Karlsson and Edvin Anger.

Long-term agreement
It is now confirmed that Adidas will become the clothing supplier for the cross-country team. The partnership will take effect on May 1, 2026, and will last for eight years.
“This is an important and strategic partnership for our entire cross-country operation. We are proud of the trust placed in us and look forward to becoming part of the exclusive adidas family,” says Malin Westhed, Marketing Manager at the Swedish Ski Association.
The focus will be on developing high-performance suits for elite athletes. The development of technological innovations will occur in close collaboration with the federation and the athletes.
“We are incredibly excited to start a partnership with one of the world’s best national teams, in a sport that is deeply rooted in the Swedish national identity. The Swedish cross-country team has a long tradition of success, and their ambition matches ours at adidas. We look forward to this journey together and all that we will achieve,” says Arletka Skurczynska, Country Manager for Adidas Nordic.
