The cross-country World Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Falun, Sweden, with a sprint race in classic technique for women and men. Check out the women’s results.

Linn Svahn, from Sweden, showed her form and won the sprint race in classic technique at the World Cup in Falun. Complete results from the women’s event.

Linn Svahn, from Sweden, took home first place today in the women’s sprint race with a time of 3:12.22.

Nadine Fähndrich, from Switzerland, grabbed second place, 0.89 seconds back, and Kristine Stavaas Skistad, from Norway, completed the podium in third place, 2.60 seconds behind the winner.

Maja Dahlqvist, from Sweden, and Jasmi Joensuu, from Finland, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.

After Sweden (Falun), the World Cup heads to Norway (Trondheim) for the World Championships at the end of February and beginning of March.  

After the World Championships, the World Cup ends the season with weekends in Norway (Oslo), Estonia (Tallinn), and Finland (Lahti).
