Surprising win for Gus Schumacher at the World Cup 10km race in Minneapolis

Gus Schumacher secured first place in the men’s 10km interval start race in freestyle technique for the USA at the Minneapolis cross-country skiing World Cup. Results from the 10km race.

Gus Schumacher, from the United States of America, took first place at the Minneapolis 10km interval start race in freestyle technique with a total time of 20:52.7. The North American cross-country skier was followed by Harald Østberg Amundsen, from Norway, 4.4 seconds back, in second place.

Pål Golberg, from Norway, completed the podium in third place, 5.8 seconds behind the winner. 

Johannes Høsflot Klæbo, from Norway, and William Poromaa, from Sweden, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.
