The cross-country World Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Engadin, Switzerland, with a 20km mass start race in freestyle technique for women and men. Check out the women’s results.

The cross-country World Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Engadin, Switzerland, with a 20km mass start race in freestyle technique for women and men. Check out the women’s results.

Astrid Øyre Slind, from Norway, showed her form and won the 20km mass start competition in freestyle technique at the World Cup in Engadin. Complete results from the women’s event.

Astrid Øyre Slind, from Norway, took home first place today in the women’s mass start race with a time of 57:12.7.

Nora Sanness, also from Norway, grabbed second place, 3.6 seconds back, and Jonna Sundling, from Sweden, completed the podium in third place, 20.2 seconds behind the winner.

Anne Kjersti Kalvå, from Norway, and Jessie Diggins, from the USA, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.

After Switzerland (Engadin), the cross-country skiing World Cup heads to Italy (Cogne). Then, the World Cup heads to Sweden (Falun) in mid-February and Norway (Trondheim) for the World Championships at the end of February and beginning of March.  

After the World Championships, the World Cup ends the season with weekends in Norway (Oslo), Estonia (Tallinn), and Finland (Lahti).
