Niskanen wins 10km classic at the Falun World Cup

The cross-country World Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Falun, Sweden, with a 10km interval start race in classic technique for women and men. Check out the men’s results.

Iivo Niskanen, from Finland, took first place in the men’s 10km interval start race in classic technique at the cross-country World Cup in Falun, Sweden. Complete results from the men’s event.

Iivo Niskanen, from Finland, showed his form and won today’s race with a total time of 24:54.3.

Johannes Høsflot Klæbo, from Norway, snagged second place, 12.9 seconds back. Erik Valnes, also from Norway, completed the podium in third place, 17.5 seconds behind the winner. 

Martin Løwstrøm Nyenget, from Norway, and Hugo Lapalus, from France, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.

After Sweden (Falun), the World Cup heads to Norway (Trondheim) for the World Championships at the end of February and beginning of March.  

After the World Championships, the World Cup ends the season with weekends in Norway (Oslo), Estonia (Tallinn), and Finland (Lahti).
