Jonna Sundling wins sprint at the World Cup in Engadin
The cross-country World Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Engadin, Switzerland, with a sprint race in freestyle technique for women and men. Check out the women’s results.
Jonna Sundling, from Sweden, showed her form and won the sprint race in freestyle technique at the World Cup in Engadin. Complete results from the women’s event.
Jonna Sundling, from Sweden, took home first place today in the women’s sprint race with a time of 2:49.04. Kristine Stavås Skistad, from Norway, grabbed second place, 1.04 seconds back, and Maja Dahlqvist, from Sweden, completed the podium in third place, 2.71 seconds behind the winner.
Sonjaa Schmidt, from Canada, and Lotta Udnes Weng, from Norway, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.

After Switzerland (Engadin), the cross-country skiing World Cup heads to Italy (Cogne). Then, the World Cup heads to Sweden (Falun) in mid-February and Norway (Trondheim) for the World Championships at the end of February and beginning of March.
After the World Championships, the World Cup ends the season with weekends in Norway (Oslo), Estonia (Tallinn), and Finland (Lahti).
