Holbæk wins 10km interval start at the U23 World Championships

The Junior and U23 World Championships 2025 continued today in Schilpario, Italy, with a 10km interval start race in freestyle technique for U23 women and U23 men. Check out the U23 men’s results.

The Junior and U23 World Championships 2025 continued today in Schilpario, Italy, with a 10km interval start race in freestyle technique for U23 women and U23 men. Check out the U23 men’s results.

Mathias Holbæk, from Norway, took first place in the U23 men’s 10km interval start race in freestyle technique at the Junior and U23 World Championships in Schilpario, Italy. Complete results from the U23 men’s event.

Mathias Holbæk, from Norway, showed his form once again and won today’s 10km race with a total time of 26:40.9.

Thomas Linnebo Mollestad, also from Norway, snagged second place, 25.1 seconds back. Martino Carollo, from Italy, completed the podium in third place, 42.5 seconds behind the winner. 

Lars Michael Bjertnæs and Sander Haukvik-Jensen, from Norway, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.
