Germany wins women’s Team Sprint in Goms

Team Germany I secured first place in the women’s Team Sprint race in freestyle technique at the World Cup in Goms, Switzerland. Results from the women’s team event.

Germany I (Laura Gimmler and Coletta Rydzek) won the women’s team sprint today at the World Cup in Goms, with a total time of 20:33.34.

Norway I (Astrid Øyre Slind and Julie Bjervig Drivenes) finished in second place, 0.52 seconds behind the winners. Norway II (Karoline Groetting and Tiril Udnes Weng) completed the podium in third place, 0.72 seconds back. 

Finland I (Jasmin Kahara and Jasmi Joensuu) and USA I (Samantha Smith and Julia Kern) rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.
