Here are some tips for the event

To enjoy your day on the course, preparation is key. Below are some useful tips for a fun and successful race.

Avoid stress before the start – arrive early
Pre-race stress is common at major events. Give yourself plenty of time, as everything usually takes longer than expected.

Eat a good breakfast – but not too much
Standing at the start line with a heavy stomach can feel uncomfortable. Focus on proper nutrition the day before and have a light but balanced breakfast early on race morning.

Energy intake during the race
To maintain energy levels, refuel during the race. Bring a few energy gels and take advantage of drinks and nutrition at the aid stations.

Prepare your skis
Make sure your skis are properly prepared for the conditions. If you lack the equipment or experience, consider using a professional waxing service.

Dress appropriately
The forecast currently indicates temperatures below zero, so choose clothing that keeps you warm without overheating.

Check your pole baskets
Ensure your poles have baskets suited for the snow conditions to avoid sinking too deeply in soft sections.

Enjoy the atmosphere
Tjejvasan always offers a fantastic atmosphere. Take it in and enjoy the moment as you cross the finish line in Mora.
