The Youth Team – Pro Team presentation Season XVII
The Youth Team, formerly known as Exsitec Ski Team, returns to the Ski Classics Pro Tour with a renewed identity and the same strong purpose: to serve as a development and recruitment platform for the Lager 157 Ski Team, one of the most successful squads in Ski Classics history.
Led by Pro Team Director Emma Rönn, the Swedish-based team continues its mission of nurturing the next generation of long-distance skiing talents. Several familiar faces remain from last season, including Anja Stolpe, Bruno Dettmann, and Maja Majbäck, now joined by a group of promising young athletes ready to gain experience on the Pro Tour.
For Season XVII, The Youth Team features four women and three men: Anja Stolpe (2003), Vera Myhlback (2009), Lisa Alrik (2008), Maja Majbäck (1998), Bruno Dettmann (2003), Valter Blomberg (2008), and Marcus Johansson (1990).
With five of its seven members competing in the Cubs category, the team combines enthusiasm, potential, and solid guidance from experienced athletes like Marcus Johansson, a consistent performer and one of the circuit’s most seasoned skiers, ensuring a balance between youthful ambition and Pro Tour insight.
As the development arm of Lager 157 Ski Team, The Youth Team plays a key role in shaping future champions while proudly representing its colors throughout the Ski Classics Season XVII.
