The Finnish Pro Team Team Endurance ES had its first season in Visma Ski Classics last winter, and now the team has a new sponsor. The new name will be Team Edux. Edux Ovet Oy is a company that manufactures doors for houses and buildings.

The Pro Team has also fortified its ranks by signing Niko Koskela, who formerly represented Team Mäenpää and Team Nordic Athlete, and Noora Kivikko, whose previous team was Vltava Fund Ski Team. Koskela won Tartu Maraton in 2019 and managed to be in the top 10 twice in 218. Last season, he took part in three races and finished among the best 25 skiers in all of them. Kivikko also participated in three races last winter and her 22nd place at Marcialonga was her best. Eric Storvall continues to be the team manager.

Erik Silfver from Sweden is also a team member, and he has performed well in this summer’s roller-ski events, 3rd at the Swedish Nationals this past weekend. His best result from last season was 53rd at Tåssåsen Criterium 64. The other skiers in the team are Niina Virtanen, Eric Storval, Olli Tyrväinen and a newcomer David Sulkakoski.

The team’s current plan includes seven event weekends in the upcoming season, and at least Marcialonga, La Diagonela, Tartu Maraton, Vasaloppet and Ylläs-Levi are in their calendar. Then either Årefjällsloppet or Birkebeinerrennet could be added as well.
