The countdown is over! The Ski Classics Pro Teams presentations for Season XVII kick off this Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 9:00 CET.

With the Ski Classics Pro Tour fast approaching, excitement is building across the skiing community. Over the coming weeks, each of the registered Pro Teams will be presented daily on SkiClassics.com and ProXCskiing.com, giving fans an in-depth look at the athletes, ambitions, and stories behind every squad before the winter season begins.

Season XVII of Ski Classics will feature 13 Pro Tour events, held across 9 weekends and 6 countries, starting with the Bad Gastein Pro Team Tempo in Sportgastein, Austria, on Saturday, December 13, 2025, and concluding with the Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja in Bardufoss–Finnsnes, Norway, on Sunday, March 29, 2026.

At the time of publication, 29 Pro Teams and 239 athletes are registered for the upcoming season. Among them, 41% are women and 59% men. Youth skiers represent 37.66% of the field (46.94% women, 31.21% men), Cubs account for 20.5% (23.47% women, 18.44% men), and Veterans make up 5.02% (3.06% women, 6.38% men).

This winter, Ski Classics will once again offer a truly global stage for Pro Team athletes, featuring skiers from Australia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Poland, the USA, and, of course, the powerhouses Norway and Sweden.

Norway leads the statistics with 38.91% of the total Pro Team athletes, followed by Sweden with 25.52%. The competition for the next spots is close, with Germany (7.53%), the Czech Republic (6.28%), and France (6.28%) rounding out the top five.

Starting tomorrow, follow the daily Pro Team presentations on ProXCskiing.com and SkiClassics.com to meet all the squads competing in the upcoming Ski Classics Pro Tour Season XVII — and start spotting your favorites for the winter ahead.

  • Event 3: January 17, 2026 – Engadin La Diagonela – Pontresina-Zuoz, Switzerland, 55km
  • Event 4: January 25, 2026 – Marcialonga – Moena-Cavalese, Italy, 70km
  • Event 5: January 30, 2026 – Bedřichov Sprint – Bedřichov, Czech Republic, 1.5km
  • Event 6: February 1, 2026 – Jizerská50 – Bedřichov, Czech Republic, 50km
  • Event 7: March 1, 2026 – Vasaloppet – Sälen-Mora, Sweden, 90km
  • Event 8: March 7, 2026 – Orsa Grönklitt 50k ITT Women – Grönklitt, Sweden, 50km
  • Event 9: March 8, 2026 – Orsa Grönklitt 50k ITT Men – Grönklitt, Sweden, 50km
  • Event 10: March 14, 2026 – Birkebeinerrennet – Rena-Lillehammer, Norway, 54km
  • Event 11: March 21, 2026 – Marcialonga Bodø – Bodø, Norway, 50km
  • Event 12: March 28, 2026 – Reistadløpet – Setermoen-Bardufoss, Norway, 35km
  • Event 13: March 29, 2026 – Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja – Bardufoss-Finnsnes, Norway, 60km
