Sofie Elebro signed for another season with Team Eksjöhus. “I look forward to training to achieve top 5 results next season,” says Elebro in a press release.

The 30-year-old athlete from Team Eksjöhus, Sofie Elebro, made her first appearance in a Ski Classics event in 2014 at Årefjällsloppet.

Elebro was top 5 in two opportunities, first at Jizerská50 four years ago and then Prato Piazza Mountain Challenge last winter.

During Season XIV, there were several results just outside the top 10 for Sofie, but during the last competition weekend, she settled in as seventh at Reistadløpet. Overall, the Pro Tour athlete finished 13th.

Today in a press release, it was confirmed that she would continue for another season with Team Eksjöhus:

“It feels fun and inspiring to continue developing as a long-distance skier with Team Eksjöhus next season. I am grateful that the team believes in me and to be part of this strong team. I look forward to training purposefully with the team to achieve my goals of top 5 placings next season,” says Sofie Elebro in the press release.

Pro Team Director Espen Träldal is delighted that Sofie will be with the team for another season:

“We are so happy that Sofie will continue with us next season. She is an important piece for the team building, and that will make us the absolute top team! An incredibly talented skier!”
