Pro Team athlete extends contract with Team Mäenpää

Amanda Nyfors signed for another season with Team Mäenpää. “It will be fun to see what I can do in the long-distance races this winter,” says Nyfors in a press release.

The 23-year-old athlete from Team Mäenpää, Amanda Nyfors, first appeared in Ski Classics last season. She was in the top 40 in four opportunities, with her best result being 34th place at Marcialonga. Overall, the Pro Team athlete finished 65th.

Today, in a press release, it was confirmed that she would continue for another season with Team Mäenpää:

“I’m happy and grateful to have the opportunity to make a real investment in long-distance skiing together with Team Mäenpää. It has been incredibly rewarding to train with the team, and I have learned a lot of new things,” says Amanda Nyfors in the press release and adds:

“It will be fun to see what I can do in the long-distance races this winter after I entered the season in the spring with the goal of developing as a long-distance skier.”

Pro Team Director Kim Mäenpää is delighted that Amanda will be with the team for another season:

“Last season, Amanda competed in five races with the team. We are happy that last season gave her new inspiration to invest fully in long-distance races,” says Mäenpää.
