Northug said in August that he had enough of the recreational skier’s life. Now it’s official, Petter Northug will be part of Ski Classics Season XIV and he will compete for his own Pro Team, Team Northug.

This is one of the news that came in this morning, with the Ski Classics press release. Team Northug is now one of the 35 Pro Teams for Ski Classics Season XIV. It is still a secret who else will be on this Pro Team but one thing we know is that Max Novak had the opportunity to join him but sayd no.

Another nice surprise with the announcement of the 35 Pro Teams in Season XIV is the arrival of the first Danish Pro Team in Ski Classics history, The Danish Skimarathon Team.

The press release only mentions the Pro Teams’ names, directors, and nationalities. New and old Pro Team members are not known yet but stay tuned for updates on ProXCskiing.com.
