The Russian Winter Team athletes did well at the Russian championships at 30 and 50 km today. Both Alexey Shemiakin and Anastasia Rygalina took silver.

The Russian championships of 30 and 50 km were held with a mass start in Tyumen today, and the athletes in the Russian Winter Team showed great form.

Anastasia Rygalina took silver in the women’s 30 km, 40 seconds behind Mariya Istomina. Anastasia Vlasova finished eighth in the race. The other day, Rygalina also finished third in 10 km in free technic.

In the men’s 50 km, Alexey Shemiakin was just 10 seconds from the gold medal. Alexander Grebenko also did well and finished in sixth place.
