Lindholm And Piippo Winners Of Day 3 And Overall At Lapponia Ski Week 2023

Lapponia Ski Week – Stage 3, a Ski Classics Challengers event, took place today with an 80km long-distance race in freestyle technique in Finland. Get to know the stage and overall winners.

After the longest day of skiing on Lapponia Ski Week 2023, the Ski Classics Challengers event saw Remi Lindholm and Eveliina Piippo, Dæhlie – Nordic Teamwear Pro Team, winning the stage and securing the overall victory at the three-day event.

Lapponia Ski Week – Stage 3 – Men’s Race

In the men’s competition, stage 3, the winner was Remi Lindholm, Dæhlie – Nordic Teamwear Pro Team, with a time of 3:13:47.8. 

Kari Varis, Team Kaskipuu/Hiihtokulma Oy, finished in second place, with a total time of 3:13:54.7, followed by Candide Pralong, Swiss Academic Ski Club, completing the podium in third position and a total time of 3:13:57.9. 

Lapponia Ski Week – Stage 3 – Top 3 Men

  1. Remi Lindholm, Dæhlie – Nordic Teamwear Pro Team, 3:13:47.8
  2. Kari Varis, Team Kaskipuu/Hiihtokulma Oy, +6.9
  3. Candide Pralong, Swiss Academic Ski Club, +10.1

Lapponia Ski Week – Stage 3 – Women’s Race

In the women’s race, Eveliina Piippo, Dæhlie – Nordic Teamwear Pro Team, with a time of 3:22:48.3, won ahead of Kerttu Niskanen, Lapland Hotels Olos, in second place and a time of 3:25:54.7.

Third place went to Krista Pärmäkoski with a total time of 3:36:35.5.

Lapponia Ski Week Final Classification after three stages and 190km:

MEN (60km + 50km + 80km Freestyle) 

  1. Remi Lindholm, Dæhlie – Nordic Teamwear Pro Team, 7:43:06.4 
  2. Thomas Bing, xc-ski.de A|N Skimarathon Team, 7:43:46.3
  3. Kari Varis, Team Kaskipuu/Hiihtokulma Oy, 7:45:02.8

WOMEN (60km + 50km + 80km Freestyle)

  1. Eveliina Piippo, Dæhlie – Nordic Teamwear Pro Team, 8:15:41.0
  2. Kerttu Niskanen, Lapland Hotels Olos, 8:18:09.9
  3. Krista Pärmäkoski, 8:34:25.4
