LINA KORSGREN ENDS SEASON XI ON TOP OF THE SC RANKING

Lina Korsgren, Team Ramudden, ends Season XI on top of the SC ranking, the global ranking system for long distance skiers. Korsgren is followed by Tord Asle Gjerdalen, Team XPND Fuel of Norway, in second place and Andreas Nygaard, Team Ragde Eiendom, in third position.

After her first place in the Season XI final event, Årefjällsloppet, Korsgren increased her lead in the SC Ranking. She now has 31,208,438 points after an outstanding season with the following placements: 2,1,1,1,1,3,1,1.

Tord Asle Gjerdalen keeps his second place in the SC ranking with 30,136,244 points followed by Andreas Nygaard with 29,952,781 points. Nygaard climbs from eighth to third place after his victory at Årefjällsloppet.

Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team, the male yellow bib winner, is in fourth place, passing Oskar Kardin, Team Ragde Eiendom, and Morten Eide Pedersen, Team Nordic Athlete, who drops from third and fourth. Øyvind Moen Fjeld, Lager 157 Ski Team, moves up from eleventh to ninth place after finishing fourth at Årefjällsloppet, his best result since he was third at Ylläs-Levi 2019.

Notable in the top 20 is that Ari Luusua, Vltava Fund Ski Team, steps up from 17th to 12th place after his third place at Årefjällsloppet. The forewer young Anders Aukland, Team Ragde Eiendom, moves from 20th to 17th.

Athletes among the top 50 taking moving upwards after Årefjällsloppet are for example Johannes Eklöf, Team Ramudden, (30-24), Mauro Brigadoi, Sottozero Trentino Team Zorzi Max (41-37), Viktor Mäenpää, Team Nordic Athlete, (44-39), Elin Mohlin, Lager 157 Ski Team (49-40) and Alexey Dvoskin, Russian Winter Team (51-45).

Moving up five positions or more among the athletes between 50 and 100 in the ranking list are: Anton Karlsson, Lager 157 Ski Team (64-57), Thea Krokan Murud, Team Kaffebryggeriet (70-61), Laila Kveli, Team Engcon (68-62), Herman Paus, Team Ramudden (73-68), Andrew Musgrave, Team Koteng (99-90), Klára Moravcová, Slavia Pojišťovna Sport Team (98-92), Sivert Bergan, Team Parkettpartner Sjusjøen (104-94), Riccardo Mich, Team Futura Trentino Alta Quota (100-95), Daniel Richardsson (107-96) and Anikken Gjerde Alnæs, Team Ragde Eiendom (109-98).

The SC Ranking is open for all participants in all Visma Ski Classics event, Pro Tour and Challengers. The SC ranking is open for both professional and recreational skiers, including all age groups, gender, and performance levels.
