Lechner and Lipowitz winners at Ganghoferlauf Skating 2025
The Ganghoferlauf Skating took place this Saturday with a 41km long-distance skiing race in freestyle technique in Leutasch, Austria. Check out the results.
After a day full of action, one of the Ski Classics Challengers events in Austria, Ganghoferlauf Skating, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Sophie Lechner, Terrex XC Ski Team, and Philipp Lipowitz, Ski-Club Seefeld, won their respective races with solid performances.
Ganghoferlauf Skating – 41km Women’s Race
In the women’s competition, the winner was Sophie Lechner, Terrex XC Ski Team, completing the event in a total time of 1:41:46.7.
Alexandra Danner, Terrex XC Ski Team, finished in second place, 1:14.3 back, followed by Sigrid Mutscheller, WSV Isny/Ruhepuls40, 3:45:3 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

Ganghoferlauf Skating – 41km Men’s Race
In the men’s event, the winner, Philipp Lipowitz, Ski-Club Seefeld, completed the race at a time of 1:33:55.7.
Jakob Milz, Terrex XC Ski Team, finished in second place, 2.0 seconds behind, followed by Reid Goble, BSF Pro Team, completing the podium in third position and 3.0 seconds back.
