Lager 157 Ski Team loses several athletes ahead of season XII. The following skiers have announced that they are ending their careers: Elin Mohlin, Anton Karlsson, Andreas Holmberg, and Øyvind Moel Fjeld. Now the team has started rebuilding.

The first new athlete to be ready for Lager 157 Ski Team is Hanna Falk. 31-year-old Falk made an early breakthrough as a sprinter in the World Cup. Already in 2009, she won her first sprint in Düsseldorf. In total, she has four World Cup victories in sprint.

Over the years, Falk has also shown her qualities several times in the 48-kilometer long roller ski race Alliansloppet, where she won both 2015 and 2016 and also has a second place.

Falk has been bothered by back problems in recent years, and that was a question mark before deciding to focus on long distance races. Now, however, Falk tells the Swedish news agency TT that it feels good after her herniated disc, but adds:
“It’s crucial for me to build up the body gradually and not start maximally already in May.“

Falk also says that it will be exciting to become a teammate with Britta Johansson Norgren:

“It will be great for me to learn from her, who has been the best in long distance skiing for many years. I hope I can teach her a little too.”

This is how Falk describes her strengths before joining Visma Ski Classics:
“My basic training, the tactical game, the speed and the sprint. But I want to be humble. There are many strong girls in the Pro Tour.”
