The 24-year-old has been on the brink of the national team in recent years. Now she is stepping into Ski Classics.

Earlier this spring, it was announced that Jenny Larsson is leaving Lager 157 Ski Team for Team Engcon. Now, the Swedish team has bolstered its women’s squad with a former gold medalist from the junior and U23 World Championships.

Moa Hansson has already made her mark in Ski Classics with Ski Team Göhlins, achieving an eighth-place finish at Vasaloppet 2025. It is now confirmed that the sprinter is transitioning to long-distance racing with Lager 157 Ski Team.

Successful in Traditional Skiing

The 24-year-old, who will turn 25 later in May, has a successful career as a traditional skier. She holds an individual gold from the U23 World Championships and a silver from the junior World Championships. Additionally, Moa has participated in 20 World Cup starts.

“We are thrilled to welcome Moa Hansson @moahansoon to the 157 family,” writes Lager 157 on their social media.
