La Saireda Roseg, an individual start race in classic technique, becomes part of the Ski Classics Challengers circuit with a 7.5km course from Pontresina to the Hotel Roseg Gletscher in Switzerland. The event is part of La Diagonela weekend and will take place on Thursday, January 16, 2025.

The Engadin La Diagonela has established itself as Switzerland’s largest classic technique cross-country ski race. In addition to the existing classic techninque races – La Diagonela (part of the Ski Classics Pro Tour calendar), La Pachifica (25km), and La Cuorta (6km) – and the free technique race and Ski Classics Challengers event, La Sfida (28km), the La Diagonela weekend will now open with the former Roseg Masters over 7.5km into Val Roseg.

La Saireda Roseg will start on Thursday, January 16, 2025, with participants starting at 30-second intervals, equipped with a headlamp, from the Pontresina Cross-Country Skiing Center from 18:00 CET. The finish of La Saireda Roseg is at the Hotel Roseg Gletscher.

Ramun Ratti, OC President of La Diagonela, is delighted with the new race under the umbrella of Engadin La Diagonela:

“We want to continuously develop the La Diagonela weekend and have found an ideal partner for his in La Saireda Roseg and the OC led by Peter Alder. We are looking forward to kicking off the La Diagonela weekend on Thursday and are convinced that we can offer both locals and La Diagonela participants another unforgettable experience.”
