Impressive race for Hoel – First ever Reistadløpet double poling win!

Johan Hoel, Team Ragde Charge, won the 50-kilometer-long Reistadløpet today in Norway. Hoel is the first ever to win Reistadløpet using only the double poling technique. With the win, the Pro Team athlete takes over the Yellow Champion bib from his teammate Kasper Stadaas, who finished 6th.

Johan Hoel, Team Ragde Charge, won the Ski Classics event Reistadløpet with a fierce sprint battle to the finish. Hoel completed the 13th stage of Ski Classics Season XV in a total time of 2:01:15.3. 

Second place, after a tight fight to the line, went to Martin Løwstrøm Nyenget, Team Eksjöhus, 0.4 seconds back. A remarkable performance from Eirik Sverdrup Augdal, Team Eksjöhus, granted him the third position on the podium, 0.9 seconds behind the winner.

Next up is Summit 2 Senja tomorrow, April 7. The event marks the 14th stage of Season XV.

The Season XV of Ski Classics Pro Tour consists of 15 events on 11 event weekends in 6 different countries. The season started in Bad Gastein, Austria, on December 9, 2023, and will end in Norway with the 100km Ski Classics Grand Finale Janteloppet on April 13, 2024.
