The Ski Classics Challengers event, Kangaroo Hoppet, took place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, with a freestyle cross-country ski event in Falls Creek, Australia.

Kangaroo Hoppet 2026

After a day full of action and a shorter race due to weather and snow conditions, the Ski Classics Challengers event Kangaroo Hoppet saw Rosie Fordham and Lars Young Vik win their respective races.

Kangaroo Hoppet – Women’s Race

In the women’s competition, the winner was Rosie Fordham, with a total time of 42:59.0. 

Maddie Hooker finished in second place, 3:23.0 back, followed by Isabella Moon, 5:55.0 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third position.

Kangaroo Hoppet – Men’s Race

In the men’s race, the winner was Lars Young Vik, completing the race at a time of 40:17.0.

Seve de Campo finished in second place, 1.0 seconds back, followed by Bentley Walker-Broose, completing the podium in third position and 1:16.0 behind the winner.
