After an exciting start to the Grönklitt weekend with the Grönklitt Criterium, today it’s time for the 10th event of Ski Classic Season XIV, Grönklitt Individual Time Trial, taking place in Orsa Grönklitt, Sweden.

Today, February 19, the Orsa Grönklitt weekend continues with the 10th event in the Ski Classics Season XIV, the Grönklitt ITT – Individual Time Trial.

The Individual Time Trial is organized as an individual start competition, and the Pro Tour athletes will face a 12-kilometer race in typical Swedish forests close to small lakes, beautiful landscapes, and a challenging climb to the finish, all only half an hour’s drive from the legendary finish line of Vasaloppet.

A Cross-Country Skiing Paradise

Orsa Grönklitt is a popular winter sports resort with well-groomed cross-country ski tracks through beautiful forests and downhill slopes of all difficulty levels. 

Moreover, visitors can ski next to Polar bears, tigers, or some other non-hibernating predators in the “Orsa Bear Park.” In the summer, one can enjoy the beauty of nature by trail running, mountain biking, paddling on Rädsjön, and just relaxing in the middle of the Swedish wonderland.

According to Grönklitt’s organizing committee, the events being held in February will provide good snow availability and will serve as a link for the Pro Teams and athletes looking for Vasaloppet week.
