The Ski Classics Challengers event, Ganghoferlauf Skating, took place this Sunday with a shortened 36km long-distance skiing race in freestyle technique in Seefeld, Austria. Check out the results.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Ganghoferlauf Skating, took place this Sunday with a shortened 36km long-distance skiing race in freestyle technique in Seefeld, Austria. Check out the results.

After a day of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event in Austria, Ganghoferlauf Skating, saw a fierce battle for the podium places. Juliane Frühwirt, Zoll Ski Team, and Marius Bauer, Terrex XC Ski Team, won their respective races with solid performances.

Ganghoferlauf Skating – 36km Women’s Race

In the women’s event, the winner, Juliane Frühwirt, Zoll Ski Team, completed the race in a time of 1:36:42.3 in a solid performance.

Sigrid Mutscheller-Lang, Ruhepuls40/WSV Isny, finished in second place, 8.2 seconds behind, followed by Julia Kuen, Team Futura, completing the podium in third position and 56.5 seconds back.

  1. Juliane Frühwirt, Zoll Ski Team, 1:36:42.3

  4. Sarah Marquardt, SC Füssen, +57.2

Ganghoferlauf Skating – 36km Men’s Race 

In the men’s competition, the winner was Marius Bauer, Terrex XC Ski Team, with a total time of 1:23:28.0.

Toni Escher, Terrex XC Ski Team, finished in second place, 2.9 seconds back, followed by Jakob Milz, Terrex XC Ski Team, 5.9 seconds behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.
