The award Visma Skier of the Day was handed out five times to a total of four athletes during season XI. Oskar Kardin, Team Ragde Eiendom received the award twice, at Engadin La Diagonela and Årefjällsloppet. The award also went to Jenny Larsson, Team Ramudden at Engadin La Diagonela, Morten Eide Pedersen, Team Nordic Athlete at Marcialonga and Jens Burman, Team Koteng, at Vålådalsrennet.

The Visma Skier of the Day award was developed together with our title partner Visma in order to reward the athletes who dares to make offensive moves and set character in the races. A maximum amount of 10 awards is handed out each season with a price money pot of EUR 2,000. The five nominees of this season get to share the total price money- 2,000 EUR goes to Kardin and 1,000 EUR each to Larsson, Eide Pedersen, and Burman.

At the Season start in Engadin La Diagonela both Oskar Kardin and Jenny Larsson made brave breakaways early in the race that was enough for impressive solo victories. At Marcialonga Morten Eide Pedersen fell and broke a pole during the race and lost the peloton. He then came back strong and finished in 9th place. Jens Burman made his debut in the Pro Tour at Vålådalsrennet and was really offensive being the first skier at both climb points and then skied alone in the lead for a long time before being chased down. In the last race of the season, Årefjällsloppet, Oskar Kardin was about to repeat his feat from Engadin La Diagonela. He was in a long solo breakaway on the way to another victory but was caught at the very end of the 100 km long race.
