Finnish team for the Oberhof World Cup

The next stage of the cross-country skiing World Cup season 2023/2024 starts in Oberhof, Germany, this Friday. The Finnish national team is now presented.

The next stage of the cross-country skiing World Cup season 2023/2024 starts in Oberhof, Germany, this Friday. The Finnish national team is now presented.

Oberhof, Germany, is the place for the next stage of this year’s cross-country skiing World Cup. As a new World Cup organizer, Oberhof World Cup starts on Friday, January 19, with a sprint race in classic technique, followed by a 20km mass start race in classic technique on Saturday, January 20, and a 4×7.5km relay race in classic/freestyle techniques on Sunday, January 21, 2024.

In a press release, the Finnish Ski Association has named their cross-country ski team for the upcoming World Cup in Oberhof. Finland will start with 17 athletes. On the women’s side, Finland will start with 8 skiers. Already on the men’s side, 9 athletes will start for the Scandinavian country.
