Emil Persson And Ida Dahl Dominate Värnamorullen

The Ski Classics Challengers event Värnamorullen, a 40km long-distance rollerski race in classic technique, took place today with a strong starting field.

The Ski Classics Challengers event Värnamorullen, a 40km long-distance rollerski race in classic technique, took place today with a strong starting field.

Many Ski Classics Pro Team athletes matched their skills in Värnamo, Sweden. After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event saw Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team, and Ida Dahl, Team Engcon, win the race with solid performances.

In the men’s competition, the winner was Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team, with a total time of 1:25:41.4. Vebjørn Moen, Team Aker Dæhlie, finished in second place, 2:32.2 behind. Johan Häggström, Piteå Elit, 2:33.0 back, completed the podium in the third position.

Top 3 Men – Värnamorullen

  1. Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team, 1:25:41.4
  2. Vebjørn Moen, Team Aker Dæhlie, 1:28:13.6
  3. Johan Häggström, Piteå Elit, 1:28:14.4

In the women’s race, Ida Dahl, Team Engcon, with a time of 1:40:32.7, won ahead of Hedda Bångman, Team Nordic Expérience Coste – Fromageries Marcel Petite, in second place and 2:05.1 back. Linnea Johansson, Lager 157 Ski Team, 4:35:4 behind, finished in third place.

  1. Ida Dahl, Team Engcon, 1:40:32.7
  2. Hedda Bångman, Team Nordic Expérience Coste – Fromageries Marcel Petite, 1:42:37.8
  3. Linnea Johansson, Lager 157 Ski Team, 1:45:08.1

As Värnamorullen is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective gender.
