Dupaski Festival Starts Today
Two days of rollerski action this weekend in Fribourg, Switzerland. Today and tomorrow, it’s time for the Dupaski Festival, organized by the Pro Tour skier Arnaud Du Pasquier.
The Dupaski Festival brings a new highlight of the Nordic ski summer season, with two rollerski races this weekend in Romont, Fribourg. Today a Showsprint in freestyle technique and tomorrow the Porsel Criterium, a classic rollerski race in multiple laps.
The rollerski event is organized by the Ski Classics Pro Tour athlete Arnaud Du Pasquier, Team Nordic Expérience Coste – Fromageries Marcel Petite, with the support of many partners who share the Festival values of solidarity, sharing, fun, and sport.
Today, Friday, July 29, Showsprint Romont kicks off with a sprint race, starting at 17:30 CET. Saturday, July 30, it’s time for the Porsel Criterium, a classic mass start rollerski race in several challenging 10km loops. Women will race 30km from 8:00 CET, and men will face a 50km competition from 10:15 CET.
