Dupaski Festival Starts Today
The Dupaski Festival brings a new highlight of the Nordic ski summer season, with two rollerski races this weekend in Romont, Fribourg. Today a Showsprint in freestyle technique and tomorrow the Porsel Criterium, a classic rollerski race in multiple laps.
The rollerski event is organized by the Ski Classics Pro Tour athlete Arnaud Du Pasquier, Team Nordic Expérience Coste – Fromageries Marcel Petite, with the support of many partners who share the Festival values of solidarity, sharing, fun, and sport.
Today, Friday, July 29, Showsprint Romont kicks off with a sprint race, starting at 17:30 CET. Saturday, July 30, it’s time for the Porsel Criterium, a classic mass start rollerski race in several challenging 10km loops. Women will race 30km from 8:00 CET, and men will face a 50km competition from 10:15 CET.
