The Ski Classics Challengers event Energamo Lipnolopet 2024 starts in one month. The roller ski race in classic technique will take place on October 5 in Frýdava, Czech Republic.

On Saturday, October 5, Energamo Lipnolopet will take place in the Czech Republic. The race is the first Czech long-distance event to become part of the Ski Classics Challengers series.

Ski Classics Challengers event

The first Ski Classics Challengers event in the Czech Republic, Energamo Lipnolopet, is a 55km race with 1.200 meters of total climbing. The start has a flat terrain around Lake Lipno, on the Czech Republic and Austria border.

Undulating course in the middle part of the race with stunning views of the Alps, the finish is a challenging 5km long uphill to Svatý Tomáš (St. Thomas), where the climb can reach up to 20% of a gradient in certain places. Simply, it is a long-distance roller ski race with everything professional and recreational skiers would expect.

The event organization also offers different race distances, such as 22km, 9km, and 1km sprint.

Ski Classics Challengers

Energamo Lipnolopet is a Ski Classics Challengers event. Pro Team registered athletes can collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders. 

A list of Ski Classics Challengers events with confirmed dates for season 2024/2025 can be found at Ski Classics. The list is updated continuously with new events.

Everyone participating in Ski Classics, Pro Tour or Challengers events, professional and recreational skiers, can connect their profile to the results database of Ski Classics, called MyPages.

MyPages can be connected when subscribing to Ski Classics online community proxcskiing.com. In the profile, you can view your Ski Classics event results, collect pins, print diplomas, and analyze your results with friends in the SC ranking system. In your profile, you collect points according to your performance and are rewarded with pins and diplomas.

One of the central features of MyPages is that you get your global SC ranking. The SC Ranking is a live updated international ranking, unique in combining women and men, professional and recreational skiers in one single list.
