A new weekend is approaching with two Ski Classics Pro Tour races and four Ski Classics Challengers events: Åsarna Ski Marathon in Sweden, Furusjøen Rundt-Rennet and Trysil Skimaraton in Norway, and Les Belles Combes in France. Get to know the details of the Åsarna Ski Marathon.

The Ski Classics Challengers event Åsarna Ski Marathon is a 46km long-distance race in classic technique this Saturday, February 18, in Åsarna, Sweden.

Åsarna Ski Marathon takes place for the 15th time in 2023, and the 46km course is presented in one big loop, leading through true Swedish wilderness.

The start takes place at Åsarna Gamla Kyrka (Old Church), and the finish line is a little further South at Åsarna Ski Stadium. Good to remember that the competition is also a seeding race for Vasaloppet and Tjejvasan.

Legendary Thomas Wassberg, a former Swedish cross-country skier, is Chief of Course, guaranteeing well-prepared and groomed tracks.

Åsarna town is located 70km south of Östersund, and the Organization Committee welcomes Pro Tour athletes and recreational skiers to visit a small village with a long ski history.
