French biathlon star claims 15km Individual gold at Milano-Cortina 2026

The Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics continued today for the biathletes in Antholz-Anterselva, Italy, with the women’s 15km Individual. Check out the results.

The Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics continued today for the biathletes in Antholz-Anterselva, Italy, with the women’s 15km Individual. Check out the results.

After a solid performance on the tracks and shooting range, France’s Julia Simon claimed the Olympic 15km Individual gold in Italy.

Simon stopped the clock at 41:15.6, with one missed shot, and claimed the gold medal.

Lou Jeanmonnot, also from France, finished second to secure the silver medal, 53.1 seconds back, and with two missed shots. Lora Hristova, from Bulgaria, completed the podium in third place, 1:04.5 behind the winner, with clean shooting, and took the bronze medal.

Vanessa Voigt, from Germany, and Dorothea Wierer, from Italy, rounded out the top five, finishing fourth and fifth, respectively.
