Britta Johansson Norgren, Lager 157 Ski Team, won the 34th edition of Tjejvasan in a sprint finish ahead of Lina Korsgren, Team Ramudden. The race was decided on the sprint when Johansson Norgren was faster than Lina Korsgren over the line. The victory margin was 2.6 seconds, and Johansson Norgren set a new track record with 1:15:39.2.

Britta Johansson Norgren, Lager 157 Ski Team, missed the victory at Tjejvasan last year by the smallest possible margin when Lina Korsgren won after a photo finish. Much suggests that the long-distance race giant is making its final season this winter. A fifth victory at Tjejvasan on Saturday can change that.
Last year, Lina Korsgren, Team Ramudden, won Tjejvasan after a photo finish sprint with Britta Johansson Norgren, Lager 157 Ski Team. After several podium places, last year’s victory was long-awaited and special. Johansson Norgren received the victory wreath first before a photo finish could indicate that Korsgren was the winner.
