Ski Classics proudly announces Devold of Norway as the Official Baselayer Partner and Skier of the Day Partner for the upcoming season. Devold, one of the World’s most traditional outdoor clothing brands, joins the Ski Classics family with a shared passion for endurance, authenticity, and sustainability.

Through the partnership, Devold will supply technical merino wool baselayers and gain visibility across the Ski Classics ecosystem. The collaboration includes the return of the ‘Skier of the Day’ award, to be powered by Devold. ‘Skier of the Day’ celebrates the male and female Pro Tour athletes who make a significant impact in the race.

In this relaunched edition, Ski Classics fans are invited to vote on their favorite skiers, live through the Ski Classics app.

“We are proud to welcome Devold of Norway as our Official Baselayer Partner,” says Oskar Svärd, Director of Ski Classics. “Devold’s craftsmanship, heritage, and commitment to sustainability align perfectly with the values of Ski Classics. Together, we highlight performance and respect for nature — two core elements of our sport.”

Øystein Vikingsen Fauske, CEO of Devold of Norway, comments:

“We are proud to announce an exciting collaboration with Ski Classics as the official Baselayer partner and Skier of the Day partner. With our shared values and common focus on durability and performance, we look forward to developing a close partnership that inspires and engages skiers of all levels to perform their best and enjoy nature”, says Øystein Vikingsen Fauske, CEO of Devold of Norway.

Kyrre Ufert Lømo, CMO of Devold of Norway, adds:

“We see ourselves as the original wool pioneer, with roots dating back to 1853. As an authentic Norwegian heritage brand, we carry a strong legacy in outdoor endurance. Our design philosophy centers on creating products with purpose and functionality. Baselayers are at the heart of our business — built for today’s outdoor pioneers.

We take pride in continuing to lead the way in wool innovation and high-quality technical outdoor apparel, particularly in classic sports close to our origins, such as cross-country skiing.

We are also thrilled to highlight the “Skier of the Day” recognition — a celebration of outstanding performance and spirit that perfectly aligns with our values. Partnering with Ski Classics just felt like a natural fit”, says Kyrre Ufert Lømo, CMO of Devold of Norway.
