Oskar Kardin, Team Ragde Charge, was hit when training in Livigno (ITA) for Sunday’s Marcialonga.

“It seems like I was lucky in the bad luck without more serious bleeding or broken bones,” Kardin wrote on his social media after the accident.

The accident occurred during a training session where Kardin was crossing a road.

“Was in a bit of a hurry where the ski track crossed the road and did not check so carefully,” wrote Oskar Kardin in his Instagram.

Kardin describes that he was hit by a car that, according to him, was coming at high speed and then had to spend the day in the hospital for x-rays and CT scans.

Accidents and concussions have marked recent years. Now, however, rehabilitation awaits, and it remains to be seen when we see him compete again.

“Have x-rayed most of my body, and it seems like I was lucky in the bad luck without more serious bleeding or broken bones. It remains to be seen when I can ski again, but it will probably take a while. Grateful for the help on the spot and afterward from the teammates,” writes Kardin.
