Team Internorm Trentino GSG, Italy’s “Red Devils,” return for Season XVIII with much of their roster intact, after finishing 15th in the Pro Team Competition last season.

The team was born from the long-standing experience of SottoZero, Italy’s historic television program dedicated to cross-country skiing. It brings together some of Italy’s leading male and female long-distance skiers, including Lorenzo Busin and Francesco Ferrari, alongside international-level athletes such as Sweden’s Malin Börjesjö and Austria’s Anna Schmidhofer. The team’s goal is to support and promote its athletes in the most important events on the long-distance skiing circuit and the Ski Classics World Championship, with a particular focus on the Challengers events held across the Alpine region.

Last season’s highlights included a strong showing at the Granfondo Dobbiaco/Toblach-Cortina Challengers weekend, where Malin Börjesjö won the classic race. Lorenzo Busin also impressed with a string of podium finishes at Ski Classics Challengers events, including second at Toblach-Cortina, third at Vasaloppet China, and fourth at the 220km Nordenskiöldsloppet, where Börjesjö finished second.

The roster heads into Season XVIII largely unchanged, with no athletes transferring in or out of the team. The only departure is Sadurni Betriu Boix, the squad’s most senior athlete, leaving seven athletes to carry the Red Devils’ colors: Lorenzo Busin, Francesco Ferrari, Malin Börjesjö, Christian Lorenzi, Thomas Rinner, Anna Schmidhofer, and Anna Giordan.
