Tour de France stage 7 saw Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) winning the 176.3km race up to La Super Planche des Belles Filles ahead of Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo – Visma) and Primož Roglič (Jumbo – Visma).

Today, Stage 8 starts in Dole, France, and covers 186.3km before crossing the border to Switzerland and finishing in Lausanne.

“Today, the sprinters will have little changes. It will be a stage for the attacking cyclists. And today we will visit country number four in this edition of the Tour de France after the start in Denmark, followed by the home country and the start of stage 5 in Belgium. Now it’s Switzerland and the finish line in Lausanne, up at the Olympic Stadium, La Pontaise. The last climb does not look too much but consider that one kilometer with a gradient of around 12% is a bit harder than it looks,” says Vacchi.

The broadcast starts on Eurosport at 13:00. Neutral starts at 13:05. Expected arrival at 17:28.
