The first edition of “La Boarder Line” was a success and has already established itself as a true Nordic celebration in France.

Easter weekend was a festive one for all the French cross-country skiers, who met in La Clusaz, to participate in the first edition of “La Boarder Line”. The course, using the resort’s alpine ski slopes, was designed to be spectacular: turns, jumps, bumps, and above all a lot of fun!

Jules Lapierre, Clément Parisse, Hugo Lapalus, Thomas Joly, Mélissa Gal and Léna Quintin was at the start, just to say how high was the level.

The day started with a qualify phase, individual start. Then, as for a ski cross, four skiers started each heat. Only the first 2 qualified for the next round. At the end of the day, it was Thèo Deswazière from Team Nordic Experience, and Katerina Janatová, the Czech cross-country skier who won the race.

Léo Mignerey won the best jump award and Robin Chavas and Edouard Pernet won the best costume award.

This first edition, which was organized by Team Farté, will certainly not be the last, given the success of the event. The next edition promises to bring much more fun and action to the cross-country skiing calendar.
