Swiss Marina Kälin wins the U23 World Championships mass start in Planica

Marina Kälin secured first place in the U23 women’s 20km mass start race in freestyle technique for Switzerland at the U23 cross-country skiing World Championships. Results from the mass start race.

Marina Kälin, from Switzerland, took first place at the Planica U23 20km mass start race in freestyle technique with a total time of 48:58.6. The Swiss cross-country skier was followed by Haley Brewster, from the USA, 1.3 seconds back.

Maelle Veyre, from France, completed the podium in third place, 4.5 seconds behind the winner. 

Novie McCabe, from the USA, and Liliane Gagnon, from Canada, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.
