Sweden Cross-Country Skiing Teams For The 2022/2023 Season

The Swedish Ski Association has named the cross-country skiers for the 2022/2023 season.

The Swedish Ski Association has named the cross-country skiers for the 2022/2023 season.

In total, 24 cross-country skiers selected will be part of the A National Team and Team BAUHAUS, and 9 cross-country skiers will join Team Svenska Spel for the upcoming season.

Training groups and arrangements continue according to previous models with A National Team, Team BAUHAUS, Team Svenska Spel Elite, and Team Svenska Spel Junior National Team.

“We have focused on creating a training group with a good mix of top qualities. The idea is to have women’s national teams and men’s national teams together this season as well, and to connect Team BAUHAUS at our camps. It gives us a good dynamic in the group and an environment where we can get help from each other,” says national team manager Anders Byström.

The camps are set.

“We have put together a camp plan with a focus on environments where we can get as much as possible of the best places in Sweden, but also spiced up with a trip to the World Championships resort Planica,” says Anders Byström.
