Superior win for Klæbo at the World Cup sprint in Östersund

Johannes Høsflot Klæbo secured first place in the men’s sprint race in classic technique for Norway at the Östersund cross-country skiing World Cup. Results from the sprint race.

Johannes Høsflot Klæbo (NOR) took first place at the Östersund sprint race in classic technique with a total time of 3:12.06. The Norwegian cross-country skier was followed by Erik Valnes, also from Norway, 3.35 seconds back, in second place.

James Clinton Schoonmaker, from USA, completed the podium in third place, 4.80 seconds behind the winner. 

Ben Ogden, from USA, and Håvard Solås Taugbøl, from Norway, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.
