The Beitostølen Premiere started today in Norway with a classic sprint race for women and men. The women’s event delivered a tight fight among the top Norwegian skiers. Check out the results.

The Beitostølen Premiere started today in Norway with a classic sprint race for women and men. The women’s event delivered a tight fight among the top Norwegian skiers. Check out the results.

Kristine Stavås Skistad, from Norway, took first place today at the women’s sprint classic technique race. Hedda Bakkemo, also from Norway, grabbed second place, and Ane Appelkvist Stenseth, from Norway, completed the podium in third place.

Beitostølen is once again hosting one of the earliest and most traditional race weekends on the Norwegian calendar. The three-day program features sprint racing today, followed by interval start distance races in classic and freestyle techniques.
