Prepare for winter as the Scandinavian Cup gears up for an exciting traditional cross-country skiing season. The prestigious Cup is set to take place across three locations: Vuokatti in Finland, Otepää in Estonia, and Hommelvik in Norway.

Kicking off the Scandinavian Cup calendar on December 15, 2023, in Vuokatti, athletes will showcase their speed and technique in the freestyle technique Sprint. As the weekend unfolds, spectators can look forward to the classic 10 km race on Saturday, followed by a freestyle 20 km mass start event on Sunday.

In the heart of January, Otepää will host the Scandinavian Cup, presenting another opportunity for skiers to demonstrate their prowess on the tracks. From January 12 to January 14, participants will tackle three races, including the Sprint and the 20 km mass start, both in classic technique and the 10 km freestyle race.

March will witness the final event of the Scandinavian Cup in Hommelvik, Norway. From March 1 to March 3, athletes will strive for victory in the Sprint and the challenging 30 km, both in classic technique and the 10 km race in freestyle technique. With the World Cup looming on the horizon, these competitions offer an ideal platform for non-national team skiers to display their talents and catch selectors’ attention.
