Ribom Wins The Women’s Sprint At The Lillehammer World Cup

Emma Ribom secured first place in the women’s sprint race for Sweden at the Lillehammer Cross-Country Skiing World Cup in Norway. Results from the women’s sprint in freestyle technique.

Emma Ribom took home first place today in a close sprint finish at the Lillehammer World Cup. Maja Dahlqvist, also from Sweden, snagged second place, 0.17 seconds behind.

Tiril Udnes Weng, from Norway, completed the podium in third place, 1.11 seconds behind the winner.

New this season is the same race distances for women and men in all World Cup events, as the International Ski & Snowboard Federation (FIS) decided in May. Several other changes have also been introduced to the World Cup.
