The cross-country skiing World Cup season 2025/2026 moves to Trondheim this week, and the Norwegian national team for the second stage of the season has now been announced.

The cross-country skiing World Cup season 2025/2026 moves to Trondheim this week, and the Norwegian national team for the second stage of the season has now been announced.

Trondheim, Norway, will host the second World Cup weekend from Friday, December 5, to Sunday, December 7, 2025. The program opens with a classic sprint on Friday, continues with a 20km skiathlon on Saturday, and concludes with a 10km interval-start freestyle race on Sunday.

In a press release, the Norwegian Ski Association confirmed the national team selection for Trondheim. Norway will start with 44 athletes (23 women and 21 men).
