Latvia And Estonia Win The Team Sprint At The Rollerski World Cup

The Rollerski World Cup had its second day this Friday with a Team Sprint in classic technique in Madona, Latvia. Latvia (Raimo Vigants and Niks Saulitis) and Estonia (Keidy and Kaidy Kaasiku) won their respective races.

In the men’s Team Sprint race, we saw Latvia (Niks Saulitis and Raimo Vigants) taking home first place. Italy (Riccardo Lorenzo Masiero and Tommaso Dellagiacoma) snagged second place, and Sweden (Jonatan Lindberg and Harald Ekenberg) completed the podium in third place.

Top 3, Team Sprint Classic, Men

  1. Latvia (Niks Saulitis and Raimo Vigants), 29:29.47
  2. Italy (Riccardo Lorenzo Masiero and Tommaso Dellagiacoma), +2.83
  3. Sweden (Jonatan Lindberg and Harald Ekenberg), +4.49

Estonia (Keidy and Kaidy Kaasiku) took first place today at the FIS Rollerski World Cup in the women’s Team Sprint classic race. Sweden (Molly Furunaes and Jackline Lockner) snagged second place, and Latvia (Kitija Auzina and Estere Volfa) completed the podium in third place.
