Jonna Sundling wins the World Cup sprint in Minneapolis
Jonna Sundling secured first place in the women’s sprint race in freestyle technique for Sweden at the Minneapolis cross-country skiing World Cup. Results from the sprint race.
Jonna Sundling, from Sweden, took first place at the Minneapolis sprint race in freestyle technique with a total time of 3:06.40. The Swedish cross-country skier was followed by Linn Svahn, also from Sweden, 0.95 seconds back.
Kristine Stavås Skistad, from Norway, completed the podium in third place, 2.68 seconds behind the winner.
Jessie Diggins, from the USA, and Victoria Carl, from Germany, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.
