FIS unveils 2025/2026 cross-country skiing World Cup calendar

The International Ski & Snowboard Federation – FIS held its FIS Spring Meetings in Portugal this week. On Thursday, the 2025/2026 cross-country skiing World Cup calendar was unveiled. Check out the complete calendar.

The International Ski & Snowboard Federation – FIS held its FIS Spring Meetings in Portugal this week. On Thursday, the 2025/2026 cross-country skiing World Cup calendar was unveiled. Check out the complete calendar.

According to a FIS post on social media, the calendar will feature three stops before Christmas for Weeks 1, 2, and 3 of the World Cup, including Ruka in Finland, Trondheim in Norway, and Davos in Switzerland.

Weeks 4 and 5 will feature the Tour de Ski, at the end of December 2025 and beginning of January 2026, which will begin in Toblach, Italy, with four events and finish in Val di Fiemme, also in Italy, with another two events. 

In Weeks 6 and 7, competitions will be held in Oberhof, Germany, and Goms, Switzerland, all before the Winter Olympic Games. 

Then, it’s time for the Winter Olympic Games, which will be held in Milan/Cortina, Italy, from February 4 to 22, 2026.

Finally, in Weeks 8, 9, 10, the final period of the World Cup season, includes venues in Falun, Sweden, Lahti, Finland, Drammen-Oslo, Norway, and the Finals in Lake Placid, USA.

30/11: 20km Mass Start Freestyle

December 5-7, 2025: Trondheim, Norway (Week 2)
05/12: 10km Interval Start Freestyle
06/12: Sprint Classic
07/12: 20km Skiathlon 

December 12-14, 2025: Davos, Switzerland (Week 3)
12/12: Team Sprint Freestyle
13/12: Sprint Freestyle
14/12: 10km Interval Start Freestyle

Tour de Ski

December 28, 2025 – January 1, 2026: Toblach, Italy (Week 4)
28/12: Sprint Freestyle
29/12: 10km Interval Start Classic
31/12: 5km Heat Mass Start Heat Freestyle
01/01: 15km Pursuit Classic

04/01: 10km Mass Start Freestyle – Final Climb
